Mouse Tails:

The Tale of Cheeser - Page 3

You can imagine how the next week of school went. Every chance they got, the children would go over to the Pet Center and peek under the towel which covered the "nursery half" of Cheeser's tank.

"They are so tiny!" "They are so pink!"

"I can see the eyes are shut!" "I can see teeny tails!"

"Look, they are all climbing over one another!"

Cheeser ate lots of food during the week. The teacher and the children read in their mouse books and on the Internet about the best foods to give her. It was interesting to see Cheeser nibbling on corn kernels and holding a green pea in her tiny paws. Some books suggested adding a few dog crunchies and Cheeser really liked them! Her favorite, however, seemed to be a nice piece of dry brown bread.

Day 3... Hey, where did Mom go???

Whenever "Mom" left the nursery,
all the babies would snuggle up into a big "dog pile"...

Oops, guess that's really a "mouse pile" !!!
