Time for the "final chapter" in this book...
All the babies went off to the Pet Store to find new homes,
while Mom stayed home and worked on getting trim again.

No... that's not quite true...we did decide to keep one little female as a pal for Cheeser.
Mrs. Boekhout tried VERY hard to make sure that it WAS a female because this time she didn't want any more little surprises!!!

We named our new little friend "Nibbles", because she likes to gently nibble on your finger tips when she is checking you out. She looks like she may be the smallest of the babies, because she still hasn't grown as big as her Mom. Nibbles is a dark chocolate brown and has the most beautiful shiny fur, dark round eyes, and a lovely long tail.

Nibbles and Cheeser are great friends and love to play hide and seek and tag. They snuggle up at night and bury themselves right underneath the soft tissue paper in their beds. They are quite friendly with the class, although they do like each other the best of all. Their favourite game with the Weekly Zoologist is to sneak into his/her cuff and run up inside the sleeve! In the end, we are just happy to see that our little Cheeser is so happy with her little mousie pal!
