Internet Sites... Recommended by Various Sources

It's hard to keep up with the Internet when it changes so quickly! Here are a few selections of sites which are recommended by people who are making it their business to keep on top of it all!

As always, while these sites seemed "appropriate" at the time of viewing, there are no guarantees.
Please also be aware that commercial sites often have plenty of "advertisements" !
Children accessing the Internet should always be monitored.
Please advise us if anything inappropriate should appear.

1. (2019 update - This link is no longer operating.)Reg recommended <http://www.netforbeginners.about.com> as a good site. "Click on the free on-line course Net 101. This site also has a good internet glossary for beginners."

2.(2019 update - This link is no longer operating.) <http://www.northernwebs.com/bc/> is "a good site if you have a lot of time and want to learn more than just the basics."

3.(2019 update - <Learn the Net> has a new, working link that seems to have lots of good information!!) https://websitebuilders.com
"If you want to master the basics in about 10 minutes, go to <Learnthenet> and scroll down to the "Web at a Glance." This is a great site that is interactive and fun."
